Soon, we will be far from each other
But my love for you will not be over
For to you, I made a promise
That until you say yes
I will stay here
Waiting
"We think that a line is straight and a circle is round, but if we will unravel the lie, we can unravel the secret. Words are figurative."

The Statue of Pepe
Sitting on his white, man-made throne
The noble hero faces the sun
Resting his industrious hands on the arms of the chair
Watching over all his fellows
Whom he gifted
With Love,
Peace,
And Liberty
And whom he loved after God
Putting his head up
His genius brightens
Like the darkest seconds of his blessed country
His undying heart blazes like the hottest fire
His love blows like the most tender wind
His ideals shout like the silent cries of his men
He stays inside the hearts and minds
Of his countrymen
Perhaps we are vain and vanity is vain
But vanity nevertheless!
This teaches us unconsciously that he
And his works are useful ironically
Blood and flesh he sacrificed
To save us from earthly hell
From the invaders, who trampled our sacred shores
And who greedily wanted to show their
silly superiority
Respect, they have none!
To be patriotic alone may not be enough
How can we thank him
Must linger as a challenge for us
His countrymen
Whom he gifted with Love,
Peace,
And Liberty
Maybe there is a dark future
Waiting for us
Like he, who faced the sun before
Foreign guns took his precious life,
Who hoped good for his Philippines
Since then,
The Filipino race had never produced
A man who can eclipse him
It is not our great challenge however,
It is to accomplish his hope
Which is for our sake and good
Valiantly sitting on his chair
Planted on a garden of flowers
And every morning,
Dr. Jose P. Rizal faces the sun
And the bright tomorrow of our dear Philippines
The noble hero faces the sun
Resting his industrious hands on the arms of the chair
Watching over all his fellows
Whom he gifted

Half-Angel, Half-Devil
I feel elated from the moment I saw you
Your face was amnesia, drenched me in deep oblivion
I watched you as the nightly sun seem
And relegate herself with the stars
Thinking when will you be mine
I never stopped chasing you until
You grew tired
And fell
But I was there to catch you
She appears after thirty nights of sleep
And there we were, one soul, sitting
While watching how the moon's light
Augment the beauty of the scenario
We grew more in love with each other
And sweeter than a honey
Or from any other sweet things in the world
My entire body, excited,
When you give me a wine's kiss
And that Dionysius wished
If he could have some
Gods' may envy me everytime
I take you to our secret conclave
But I still fail to win
Over our dispute of kiss
And maybe, that's why you untimely left me
I concealed myself from the naked truth
Or I would deny that I met you
And completed the puzzle inside me
With a sigh, I watched an empty
Clear sky
This is one of the night of her sleep
The light that once augment
The beauty of the place
Never do anything at all
What place will it augment
It is not the place where we used to sit
And stare at the moon as I held your hand
But it is both the literal place
And the place where
Only the two of us belong
It takes two for this place to exist
This is the time when I miss you
Yet I still don't want to call you
You give me all your love
But then just broke the vow
You knocked me so down
When I'm already under you
Girl, this is ironic
I don't understand you
But I know that I still love you
Maybe it is true
Your half-angel, half-devil
Your face was amnesia, drenched me in deep oblivion
I watched you as the nightly sun seem
And relegate herself with the stars

Christmas
I.
Christmas is loving.
But what is loving
When someone is hungry
For that feeling?
Christmas is sharing.
But what is sharing
When someone is needing
For that share?
Christmas is forgiving.
But what is forgiving
When someone is hiding
That destructive hate?
II.
Christmas is not joyful.
Joy does not exists
If you see a child
Sleeping on a cold street
With nothing to keep him warm.
Christmas is not warm.
Warmth does not exists
If you are always alone,
Hungry for that long embrace
That may vanish the hidden hate.
Christmas is not love.
Love does not exists
If you and your neighbor
Fight for unnecessary things
Which make your hearts ununified.
Christmas is not unity.
Unity does not exists
If the bonds are broken
But don’t be sad
Let’s be one this Christmas.
Christmas is loving.
But what is loving

Gone
O, how can I tell how fast the time goes
And did the clocks hands ever changed its course?
Just like passing horses on Avenue
Our own memories, they come and go
You love to hunt with the boys, to pick red roses
And wake up early to see the sun from the east
You are diverse and I liked you for that
Your face is all I see. I love you; But
Sometimes I wished the clock could turn backwards
So I can play with you that deck of cards
You give me life again with your sweet smile
And you’re kiss is a deathly vile
I really dream I am God, the Creator
And by my power – breathe life to you again
But Fates were against us. Though with one hour
I’ll take you to bed and pour all my pain
But sometimes I wished the time was not fast
So you’re beside me. We, forever will last
And could it be harder to say goodbye
Just as easy to greet you with a hi?
Since you’ve been gone, life could see bitter end
Like torn roses, heart could never be mend
“For those who love, time is eternity.”
But how can that be when you’re without me?
And did the clocks hands ever changed its course?
Just like passing horses on Avenue
Our own memories, they come and go
You love to hunt with the boys, to pick red roses
And wake up early to see the sun from the east
You are diverse and I liked you for that

The Christmas Time
Chorus:
It’s time for forgiving.
It’s time for sharing.
It’s time of loving.
Christmas is coming.
The first day of December
Townfolks are much happy.
Gifts and toys to share
And dear cousins to see.
Chorus:
It’s time for forgiving.
It’s time for sharing.
It’s time of loving.
Christmas is coming.
Women in carols are here,
Men in laughters are there,
Or put them altogether
You will see them everywhere.
Chorus:
It’s time for forgiving.
It’s time for sharing.
It’s time of loving.
Christmas is coming.
Long time for evenings
Short leap on the morn.
It means more time for spending
With the Saviour who is born.
Chorus:
It’s time for forgiving.
It’s time for sharing.
It’s time of loving.
Christmas is coming.
His birth in a manger
Will end our sufferings
For this is life’s new chapter.
Let’s keep our heart’s hopings.
Chorus:
It’s time for forgiving.
It’s time for sharing.
It’s time of loving.
Christmas is coming.
It’s time for forgiving.
It’s time for sharing.
It’s time of loving.

Prayer
O, Blessed Virgin Mary, that was ever ready to help
Please hold my hands to do good,
Touch my hand to be merciful to everyone,
Guide me to the right place so that
My neighbors may follow; and
Mold my soul that I can show them your way.
O, Mirror of Justice, pour my eyes with fair
So that there is an everlasting
Reflection of righteousness.
Where there is fear, I shall hold them
Towards the roads of challenges,
When their heart is cold,
I shall warm it through the faith in me,
When there is sorrow,
I shall wipe away the deep distress, and
When there is sick,
I shall heal them forever.
O, Holy Mary, make me a soldier of Yours
So I can protect my companions in everytime
By calling Your holy name,
S I can treasure my brothers and sisters
The way you treasure me, and
So I can bring back my broken faith
To be worthy for the love of God
And to be whole again.
Amen.
Please hold my hands to do good,
